Sheldon Harber’s financial planning career spans nearly 30 years. Beginning in 1979, with Comprehensive Planning Consultants (CPC), Sheldon has grown his practice into a range of clients that depend on his experience and expertise in guiding their financial affairs. As a result of Sheldon’s vision and leadership CPC, evolved into Asset Strategies Inc. a full service financial and retirement planning firm with a comprehensive approach to helping clients achieve financial security.
Sheldon’s vast experience is clearly recognized by financial and educational institutions across the region. His services as advisory board member for Allegiant Trust Company, member in good standing of the Financial Planning Association and his instruction in financial planning and retirement studies at Saint Louis University, Southern Illinois University and Jefferson College demonstrate his depth of knowledge and ability to focus on financial trends. Sheldon was also honored for his expertise in his field when he was requested to write the forward for the book The Art of Investing and Portfolio Management.
In addition to his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, Sheldon holds numerous registrations including: Life and Health Insurance, Series 7 General Securities Registered Representative, Series 24 General Securities Principal, Series 51 Municipal Fund Securities Principal, Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State law, and Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law.
Sheldon and his wife Anne reside in Chesterfield , Missouri and have two adult daughters. Outside of his professional associations and activities Sheldon is an ardent supporter of St Louis’ endeavor to preserve its’ historic buildings, enjoys attending many local and national professional sporting events and can be spotted sampling many area restaurants. He also has accumulated an impressive collection of rock music that he continues to build in his spare time.
